Playstyle: tempo & burst • 0 cards in pool
Hunter decks operate on tempo and precision burst. Each Hunter card is built around exploiting momentum windows — dealing disproportionate damage when enemy HP crosses threshold points, or firing multi-hit abilities that delete individual targets before they can stabilise. Hunter decks punish sloppy deckbuilding: if your opponent's team has one weak link, Hunters will find it. The archetype's defining mechanic is Deadeye — guaranteed hit effects that bypass Shield and Barrier abilities. This makes Hunters one of the best counters to Guardian and Angel decks that rely on damage-negation tools. Tempo Hunters build around fast, disposable Common and Uncommon cards that trade efficiently, backed by one or two high-rarity Hunters as closers. Burst Hunters go all-in on high-attack Rares and Epics that delete single targets instantly. Counter: Berserker and Demon decks can out-tempo Hunters in even matchups if you don't draw burst fast enough. Arena Hunter defenses are tricky to navigate — attackers often find themselves hit hard by surprise abilities mid-fight.
