Mill Deck is Shadow Realms' ultimate attrition strategy — it doesn't aim to kill opponents directly, but to drain their resources and outlast them through card advantage. Necromancer Reanimate effects recycle your dead cards while draining the opponent's hand and board simultaneously. The longer a match goes, the more your advantage compounds. This deck is punishing to play against and rewards players who understand matchup pacing.

Best for: Players who enjoy grinding opponents down over long matches.

How to Play

Mulligan & Game Plan

Mulligan Steps

1. Keep Necromancer cards costing 3-4 — they drive your Reanimate engine.
2. Prioritise cards with card-draw or resource-drain mechanics.
3. Keep removal for your opponent's strongest early cards.
4. Never keep more than one card costing 5 or higher.

Game Plan

1. Establish Necromancer presence in turns 2-4 with Reanimate triggers.
2. Trade 1-for-1 with your opponent's best cards to fill your graveyard.
3. Reanimate your strongest fallen cards when HP thresholds are met.
4. Drain opponent's hand and board simultaneously in the mid-game.
5. Win through card advantage when both players are out of resources.
